Trajan Hotel is happy to remind you that the Italian Marathon Club is organizing the fifteenth edition of the Rome Marathon race with the technical join work of Rome Atielle srl. The event is included in the IAAF (International Association Athletics Federation) international calendar, AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Road Races), FIDAL Track-and-field sports Italian Federation), IPC (International Paralympics Committee) and CIP (Italian Paralympics Committee).
According to the tradition this great event will be accompanied by the Rome Fun Run, a for all no competitive run 4 kilometres long.
Marathon will start the 22nd of March at 9,00 o’clock from Imperial Forum street. Those Athletes who will complete the run receive a medal and a certificate of presence.
Rome will be transformed in a traffic island and everywhere will be performed shows and concerts.
In occasion of the event will be put into action the famous Marathon Village, several refreshment and sanitary rooms, shuttles, radio service for emergencies and all that such a event needs.

The Traiano Hotel is happy to mark that Coliseum, few minutes away from the hotel and recently included among the new seven wonders of the world, represents the most searched monument on Internet with more than 20 million of web contacts in 2008, according to a universal survey promoted by the famous Canadian/Swiss film expert Bernard Weber.
Then we find Pisa Tower, Milan Cathedral, St Peter in Rome, Giotto bell tower in Florence, Ovo Castel in Naples and Paestum Temples. It emerges from a research promoted by the Wise Nathan, an international journalistic observatory, that will be presented at the World Travel Market in London, the most important international event concerning tourism.
Together with the research will be presented the tourist offer concerning Rome and Lazio Region: to realize a Time-Machine, a gyroscopic video guide able to reconstruct in a 3D version the archaeological area of Coliseum and Imperial Forum. For the realization of this video guide it was necessary that Coliseum was furnished with nine Wi-Fi points, becoming the first totally Wi-Fi monument in Italy.

An exibition dedicated to Giovanni Bellini will take place in Rome since 30 September 2008 to 11 January 2009, at the “Scuderie del Quirinale”. Bellini has been proclaimed “the best painter of all” by Albrecht Dürer who admired the works of the Venetian, recalling that in the second half of the fifteenth century Bellini was the reference point for all artists.
The first monographic exhibition after that of Venice, in 1949. More than sixty works painted with sacred and profane themes, about three quarters of the entire collection of the artist. Some extraordinary masterpieces that reveal the great personality of the painter.
