Hotel Traiano is happy to remind you Golden Gala 2009 an other important sporting event that will take place on July in Rome. Today is already possible to consult on line the programme of all scheduled competitions.
Next 10th of July at Olympic Stadium in Rome will be three hours of incredible athletics: from speed competition in 100 and 400 metres to middle distance race with the traditional appointment with 800, 1500 and 5000 metres; this year will be added the 3000 female hurdle race. Will be confirmed the last edition competitions: male long distance, female high jump, female pole-jump and male javelin.
The first Rome Golden Gala took place in 1980 after Moscow Olympic Games: 208 athletes from 21 different countries competed and the event met with outstanding success attracting more than 60000 spectators, until today an undefeated record
