2009 FINA World Championships Rome

The 13th edition of the is coming back; athletes from every part of the world will challenge in 5 difference disciplines: diving, swimming, open water swimming, water polo and synchronized swimming.
For 16 days Rome will be invaded by 2500 athletes challenging for 170 nations in five disciplines such as swimming, plunges, water polo, synchronized swimming, etc.
Qualifying matches will be played in different countries and they will show an incredible edition, rich of charming challenges where Italian athletes will surely be protagonist.
All the matches will be performed in a developed Italic Forum from the 18th of July.
The Promoter Committee of the 13th FINA World Championships will promote a schedule of events linked to art and recreation, with the water as main theme: it will be named Aquatic Festival and it will be performed at the same time of the 13th FINA World Championship until its conclusion.
