Through the definition “Industrial automations” we usually refer to the use of robotic devices applied to complete manufacturing tasks. Starting from Ford’s first set of Model-T Assembly lines in the early 1920s, automation has been of high priority for the manufacturing sector. Thanks to an appropriate automation,in fact, industries can rationalise the production keeping simultaneously the process under control. These peculiar production systems have been empowered by the development of new sensors and instruments due to the advancements in science and technology. In this modern age of computers, industrial automation is becoming increasingly important in the manufacturing process because computerized or robotic machines can easily handle repetitive tasks quickly and efficiently. Machines used in industrial automation can also complete peculiar tasks that are not desirable to workers. Moreover, in this way industries can save money because they don’t need to pay for expensive benefits for this specialized machinery. Companies can really get many advantages through the use of industrial automation.
